As the US industry began changing, during the early 1990s, to accommodate new VOC Emission Regulations as well as changes in consumer preference trends, ExxonMobil Chemical established a Consumer Products Team to assist our customers in meeting these new regulations. Each team member brings a special expertise to assist our customers. The team leader brings over 20 years of experience in ExxonMobil Chemical Intermediates business and manufacturing along with knowledge of the Consumer Products industry, its applications and regulatory background. The team's regulatory specialist is responsible for working directly with regulators on a State and Federal level to advocate the use of sound science in the development of regulations and policy impacting the consumer products industry. The team technical specialist is responsible for assisting our customers with starting formulations and packaging recommendations for both aerosol and liquid products.
